Day six...
Here it is, a nice view of Ho-pyeong dong from Pyongnae up the hill. This is all part of the city of Namyangju, but Ho-pyeong is my part of town. Its made up of a bunch of high rise apartments, high rise store buildings a school and a huge 4 story vertical walmart called E-mart, all contained within surrounding forest covered mountains. And its all less than 6 years old, I guess sprawl overflow from Seoul.

Day Four...
Finaly after a few days without I have power. Things haven't gone the smoothest since my arival, but they can only, and are getting better. Though I brought electronic devices with me, I didn't relize they were using 220 here in Korea. Long story short I ended up with an up converter that wasnt going to help anyone in this country (it arced and fried my cellphone charger), but today I found a step down transformer and now I have power. I won't have intenet or phone untill I get my green card, and that won't be for a week or two. Also I have to wait a week before I can goto my school, to be sure I don't share H1N1. So now I'm sipping a 3 dollar cup of coffee to get an internet connection. Not bad coffee though.
